Metaphysical Properties

Moldavite is often referred to as the Stone of Transformation. Many people work with Moldavite to support personal growth, spiritual exploration, meditation, expanded awareness, and greater alignment with their life's path. It is also commonly associated with the heart chakra and is often used by those seeking greater alignment between the heart, mind, and spirit.

Moldavite is also one of the Synergy 12 Stones as described by author Robert Simmons and is often associated with spiritual growth, heightened awareness, and personal transformation.

What is the Moldavite Flush?

When holding Moldavite for the first time, some people report experiencing what has become known as the "Moldavite Flush." It is often described as a sensation of warmth, tingling, increased energy, or a flushed feeling throughout the body. Others describe feeling an immediate opening of the heart chakra or a noticeable shift in awareness. These experiences vary greatly from person to person. Some people feel the effects immediately, while others notice little or no conscious sensation at all.

Because Moldavite is often considered a high-energy stone, some people prefer to work with it gradually when first becoming familiar with its energy. Minerals such as Shungite, Hematite, Smoky Quartz, Black Obsidian, Jet, and Iron Meteorites are commonly used for grounding and balancing. Herkimer Diamonds and other quartz crystals are frequently paired with Moldavite and are believed by many crystal enthusiasts to help stabilize or amplify its energy. As with all crystal work, it is best to follow your own experience, intuition, and personal guidance.

K2 is known for its ability to awaken psychic and intuitive abilities. It is associated with activating the Third Eye and Crown chakras, helping one become more receptive to Universal wisdom. The unique combination of grounding granite and vivid blue Azurite is often regarded as bringing together higher states of consciousness with the stabilizing energy of the Earth.

Together, Moldavite and K2 are often used by those seeking personal transformation, spiritual evolution, expanded consciousness, enhanced intuition, and deeper spiritual awareness.

About Moldavite: Science & History

Moldavite is a very rare green Tektite that was created as a result of a meteor that fell to Earth about 15 million years ago. While it is commonly referred to as a crystal, gemstone, or meteorite, it is actually none of these. Moldavite is a naturally occurring form of impact glass known as a Tektite.

Moldavite was formed approximately 15 million years ago during the meteorite impact that created the Ries crater region of present-day Germany. It is part earthly (made from the Earth's crust) and part extraterrestrial (meteorite-based).

The intense heat generated upon impact instantly vaporized surrounding materials. This created a hot molten green silica-rich material that was ejected into the atmosphere and later cooled into natural glass across parts of what is now the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is the only place in the world where genuine Moldavite is found.

Its beautiful green color, extraterrestrial origins, rarity, and the extraordinary experiences reported by many people who work with it have made Moldavite one of the most sought-after tektites in the world.

About K2

K2 is a unique combination of minerals discovered in an extremely remote area of the Karakoram mountain range in northern Pakistan. It was first found in the foothills of K2, also known as Mount Godwin-Austen, the second-highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest.

K2 is composed primarily of white granite containing naturally occurring vivid blue Azurite inclusions, although small amounts of Malachite may also be present. Its striking appearance, remote locality, and limited availability have made K2 highly sought after by collectors, lapidary artists, and jewelry enthusiasts. Every K2 cabochon displays a unique arrangement of naturally occurring blue Azurite inclusions, making each piece one of a kind.

Authenticity Guarantee

All Moldavite offered by Moldavite Life is ethically sourced and verified for authenticity. Each piece includes a signed Moldavite Life Certificate of Authenticity and is backed by more than a decade of specialized experience working with genuine Moldavite.
