Metaphysical Properties
Ruby stimulates the Heart Chakra as well as the 1st Chakra (associated with the color red). In her book Love Is In The Earth author Melody writes "Ruby is known as a "stone of nobility", gathering and amplifying energy while promoting and stimulating mental concentration". This stone also encourages one to follow their highest excitement or "bliss". It is also a good shielding stone for protection from psychic attack. It has been used in ancient cultures for "casting lots" and is good for aiding in disputes.
