This genuine Irgizite Tektite for Making Jewelry is one of a kind. Each Irgizite Bead for sale includes a Meteorite Identification Card. Rare Irgizite tektites are strange and unusual because unlike all other tektites they look like taffy and are often found with very tiny "droplets" on their surface. This gorgeous 900,000 year old piece is in good shape, but does have some chips as most all ancient tektites do. These ultra rare beads are drilled one at a time.

About Irgizite Tektites
Irgizite is a rare black tektite usually identified by its strange twisted ribbons and glossy ropes of black glass shapes. Irgizite tektites were created during an asteroid impact which occurred approximately 900,000 years ago. They are found in Kazahkstan's Zhamanshin meteor crater located in a remote south east area of Kazahstan near the village of Irgiz. Most of these unusual tektites are very small compared to other kinds of tektites like Libyan Desert Glass.
